Health behaviors, lifestyle, environment, policy, and other social-ecological factors play critical roles in disease prevention and control. Access to evidence-based interventions and high quality health information and care can provide a foundation for eliminating health disparities.

Our mission is:

1) To advance understanding of behavioral, lifestyle, environmental, policy, and other social-ecological factors that affect physical health and psychosocial well-being.

2) To increase dissemination and implementation of effective approaches for improving care at the local and global level, with emphasis on promoting health equity.
