Women's Health Initiative (WHI) Clinical Trials of Hormone Therapy, Diet Modification and Calcium/Vitamin D Supplementation, and Observational Study

Description:
WHI consists of a set of multi-center Clinical Trials and an Observational Study to address the health problems of post-menopausal women. Follow-up is for 10-12 years. There are 40 clinical centers and nationally 161,809 women are participating, with 4,783 enrolled at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine New York Clinical Center. Several additional studies, ancillary to WHI, are also in process or in data-analytic stages.
